Medium: Graphite and Watercolor (14" x 20" w/o frame, 19 3/4" x 25 3/4" framed)

Watercolor is not one of my go-to mediums, but I wanted to give it a try and see how I could mix them with graphite, which has been my medium since I can remember. I wanted to create a black and white portrait and take advantage of the different tones that would come out from using both mediums. Angelina Jolie as Maleficent is breathtaking and I wanted to find out if I could capture her beauty by just using a single color.
A fun project, which takes me back to the kind of art work I did as a kid.
